There’s a fine line between curiosity and impatience. When someone asks, "How can I make money with this skill?", they are either focused only on the outcome or trying to see if the journey to making money fits them.
If you learn forex just for the money, you're focused on the outcome. But if you learn forex for the knowledge it gives you to build something that generates money, you're focused on the process.
This is why it’s important to gain clarity on the things that makes you feel alive, from learning to earning. If what you’re learning is not a step toward achieving a bigger goal, then you’re probably wasting your time or playing a short game.
Now the question is: Won’t you at some point need to learn something just for the money? Yeah, you will. It may even happen at the very beginning. However, the mindset you need to follow through is to have a bigger goal.
PS: I used forex trading as an example because it accurately depicts this idea. Most forex traders don’t eventually make money. Guess who makes more? Yeah, those who build the tools that forex traders use. How do you build a tool for something you have no idea about?
