I applied for a job post and submited this " https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1M66vxz2_kgMV48_26DIQAtCy-NLU64NM " as my portfolio but someone else was hired and was told it's because of the samples showed, I wish to know why I'm not hired and will love to improve myself

I think your work samples look good. But keep in mind, businesses may have specific design needs. However, here're some things you can do to always be a top candidate in job applications.

Create a behance profile and create case studies on your skills. Demonstrate that you're a problem solver, then impress with creativity.
You could pair this design skill with your CMS skill. I suggest picking webflow or framer if you haven't. Employers appreciate unicorns, i.e people who have multiple skillsets.
Never send work samples in a google drive again. It reflects poorly on you. Instead, upload them on instagram.
Lastly, have a linktree/disha/carrd page that links to all your online profiles. This is an alternative to building a website.
